The Longbill spearfish (Tetrapturus pfluegeri) is a fish of the marlin family common to the Western Atlantic Ocean. It was first described as a new species in 1963 by Robins and de Sylva while it was previously attributed to the Mediterranean spearfish (Tetrapturus belone).
